BEFuture Winter & Summer School

The BEFuture Winter & Summer School, an international programme organised within the NAWA SPINAKER BEFuture initiative at Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences (UPWr), Poland.

🔬 BEFuture Winter & Summer School – key information

• Target group: international PhD students (doctoral candidates)
• Scientific focus: Biomedicine / Environment / Food for Future Innovations
• Programme format (hybrid):
 – Week 1 (online): 16–20 February 2026
 – Week 2 (on-site, UPWr laboratories, Wrocław): 23–27 February 2026

• Available tracks:
 🐾 VetBioFrontiers (veterinary biomedicine; biology, biotechnology, related life sciences)
 ☘️ EnviFuture (environmental engineering)
 🥑 FoodPack Forward (food technologies)

• Scholarship: approx. EUR 1,100 per participant (travel & accommodation support)
• Eligibility:
 – PhD student status
 – Eligibility to enter the Schengen Area for the on-site week in Poland
 – English proficiency at B2 level
