CryoStore kick-off meeting

The CryoStore kick-off meeting was held in Tours, France from 30 Oct to 1 Nov 2023. All beneficiaries (except representatives from WUR) were present at the meeting, in addition to a few specially invited associated partners. The meeting took place at the Hôtel Oceania L’Univers, where many of the participants also stayed. Useful information about the proceedings of the project, as well as an overview of the individual research areas, were presented.

On Tuesday 31 Oct we also had a nice walk in Tours city, seeing the Cathédrale Saint-Gatien, the Basilique Saint-Martin de Tours and the Fritz elephant. The day was rounded off with wine tasting and a nice dinner in true French style.
